Are you afraid of the dark?
Location: Downtown Kirkwood
Like many urban neighborhoods in a major metropolitan city, people view their neighborhoods differently at night than they would during the day. Most do not choose to walk their community streets at night in fear of muggings (or worse!) and suggest improving lighting and increasing pedestrian traffic during the evenings to help prevent unwanted crime.
There have been mixed responses to this piece, primarily due to personal experiences. Some show no worry about their neighborhoods while others disagree.
